Crystal is co-author with Rikk Larsen of “Elder Mediation: Optimizing Major Family Transitions” for Marquette Elder`s Advisor Law Journal. She was a guest on the Washington Post`s “Family Mediation for Elderly Care” online discussion and has been quoted in the New York Times and other national media. She and her colleagues wrote together the book Mom Always Liked You Best: A Guide for Resolving Family Feuds, Inheritance Battles & Eldercare Crises. A member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, she is a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators and the Association for Conflict Resolution. She was a member of the ADR Education Subcommittee, the Public Awareness Working Group and the Court Systems Working Group for the Massachusetts Trial Court`s Standing Committee on Litigation. Prior to the co-founding of Agreement Resources and Elder Decisions® in late 2003, Crystal had over a decade of corporate and non-profit experience in training, human resources, quality assurance and consulting. Crystal has an MSW and MBA from Boston College and a bachelor`s degree in cognitive science/psycholinguistics, magna laude, from Brown University.
